Owning one of the many metal wine coolers on the market is a way to get a low cost per bottle storage with convenient access. These coolers come in single and dual-zones with sliding shelves, glass or solid doors, and some can be placed in a garage or attic. They all have a pleasing look in any décor. Their cabinets are metal, usually black but some with stainless steel. The door frames are usually black to match the black cabinet but can also be brushed steel or stainless. If the door is glass they are always well insulated and have UV protection. The cooling technology is always compressor, the same as your kitchen refrigerator.
The Danby wine cooler – 166 bottles, stores up to 166 wine bottles. It may be used in a built-in or freestanding application. It has tempered glass door with stainless steel trim, a towel bar style handle and integrated lock. This is a two temperature zone model with stainless steel trimmed cherry wood shelves. Fifteen roller glide shelves maximize bottle accessibility. The dimensions are: 23 7/16″W x 28 7/16″D x 69 5/16″H.
